Who can believe spring is here?  Team Norris has weathered the holidays and made it out of winter unscathed. We are trying to kick the cold bug out of the house and the warm weather has helped.

Livy is calling things by the first letter of the name, or first two letters. Mom is "M", Dad is "D", phone is "ph", club house is "ch" and you get the picture.  It's pretty cute.  She is starting to read her books out loud and her little voice saying the words is breathtaking.

Max wants to help with everything. Cooking, cleaning, airing tires, gardening.  He just loves to help.  It's really fun because he asks a lot of questions and is curious about everything. It's amazing how grown up they can sound.  He always asks how mom and dad's day was when we get home (we always ask them, too).

Augie has some horsepower in his imagination.  He's always shooting something, pretending to be dad, being a superhero, a dinosaur, tiger, you name it and Augie has pretended it. He ropes his brother into some pretend games and Max loves it too.

The boys have been playing really well together outside. Making mud pies, digging, or finding little treasures in the yard makes the time fly.  Recently we helped them put a cicada skin collection together from all the skins we found under the Ash trees, and tonight we looked for worms after the rain.  They both held the worms and we would transplant them in a new location, watching them find their way back underground.

Livy loves our new, used playhouse and loves to pretend in it. She's not quite as interested in the outdoors as the boys are, but she does love to be outside with us.  She has actually taken an interest in golf - dad cut off an old sand wedge for the kids and Liv is always out with it or with a plastic club.

We are looking forward to warmer weather and being out of the house more - and to more new changes from the kids.
